Angry with Supanet

I am really angry with Supanet. My grandad gave them a month's notice that we were switching. They have charged him a big termination fee (which is equivalent to 2 1/2 months payment) despite the contract ending in November (which is when we are switching).
They have now sent him a message saying "welcome back" which I don't understand. Are they trying to renew the contract or something else?
Has anybody else had this? It is stressing me out and my grandad out which isn't good at all

Check the account as it reads as you are paying the balance of the contract .
Did he ask for a MAC code as that is only valid for thirty days .0
