Advice on parking rights on an unadopted road.

I live in a cul de sac of 4 properties with one road in and out. We own the piece of road directly infront of us, which is the exact width of our house plus path/garage. Our deeds state we need to leave access to the other properties.
Our neighbour has put a large wooden shed style 'wendy house' on their drive which means they park on the road. They have visitors daily who park on our property making it difficult to get on and off our driveway, although not blocking it completely.
Our front garden has been fully paved to keep our cars off the road but with their parking it means delivery lorries turn on our driveway.
We have tried over and over to explain our frustrations but they don't care. They now leave their spaces free and park on ours to be awkward.
The police are not interested as they say it's private land and they'll only get involved if a public order offence is committed!!!
I have been told to speak to a solicitor but I can't see that making a difference to a family of ignoramus'!!!!0 -
From what I can gather before my parents roads were adopted by the council they owned the road outside their house to the middle of the road. So if what I can gather is correct your neighbors are parking on your property. But as its private property police probably won't be interested.0
