Hi
Just reviewed stocks after weekend enslaught of visitors. 2 slices of bread left. enough milk until thurs, poss fri. Mr T coming sat.
No potatoes. Have got a cauli, 6 carrots, 8 shape choc puds, half an apple pie, yummy. Enough salad stuff for 3 day lunches at work.
So I need bread and potatoes and to get something out of freezer for tonight. Off to test me self control tonight after work. Budget £5.
Have a good day.0 -
It's for 12 pouches. It was so cheap I had to try it.:money:
I always buy several of the £ 1.75 packs, which is still very cheap indeed & great variety (especially if they have all the different boxes in stock). No more waiting around for offers on the big brands...First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -

Needed to buy some milk yesterday so bought the few bits which were on my shopping list for tomorrow - spent a total of £8.02, most of which was to make a SC full of braised red cabbage, some of which will end up in the freezer for Christmas dinner.
Still need to pop out tomorrow but don't think I'll need to spend any of the GC budget.
Will update signature shortly.

Raining again! Not sure if I need to pop out, I could wait until tomorrow but DS could do with getting out and exercising.

Well, even at £1.75 that's still a lot cheaper than the big brands even when they are on offer so definitely worth a try! Will pop in after work this evening to get one to try. Fingers crossed for the 85p ones though!!!:ADFW Nerd 145

Have cracked and done a Mr T emergency order. DH rang and went nuts at lack of bread and potatoes. Time for an acknowledgement that £200 for november will not be enough. So tomorrow £25 is arriving. The challenge will be now to see how little I can go over. In fairness have fed 10 or so extra 3 meals a day for 2 days with stuff that was in, cost around £30, so I should not be too miserable. There had been mention of a takeaway (would have been £100+)0

Trying to get my head round a menu plan for December and struggling which is frustrating as this month went so well! Might be because I need to cut back in the beginning of the month to pay for Christmas meat and veg etc
Can't decide whether to order meat like normal or stalk the reduced section for meat and then do ad hoc menu planning (which I'm not keen on).Stay at home Mum to DS Oct 2011 and DD Dec 2013
