OH bored and has to do something...

OH has woken up with the 'I am bored I have to do something head on this morning:)' DS and I are quite happy to plod about on here on the xbox just bimbling about not doing much, OH sees the whole of sunday stretch before him and is trying to make lists in his head what he could do to while (sp) the hours away, none of the things I feel are necessary just doing for the sake of it, both of us misunderstanding the other, I cannot understand why he has to be jumping up and 'finding things to do' while I suppose he must wonder why I am just not doing things to fill my time?

No rift just do you feel the need to fill your time and find things to do on a sunday or are you just happy to sit about and not do much?

Why does someone get bored anyway?

He keeps walking past with the 'I am double busy' look on his face when he really isn't it:rotfl:

If I were you, I'd grab the opportunity and let him know about various things around the house that need doing. Tidying the loft, cleaning the loo, dusting and ironing should see him running in the opposite direction very fast :rotfl: ;)

  • What did you do yesterday? I'm happy to spend one day of the weekend lazing at home, as long as I get out of the house and do something fun on the other day. I go a bit stir crazy otherwise, I have a very dull job and need to get some mental stimulation at the weekend.
  • Weekends are so busy for me catching up on housework, online shopping (as Christmas is approaching) and design commissions, nobody dare utter the words 'I'm bored' in this house or they'll get a list of jobs as long as their arm!

If he wants a productive day and you don't, let him get on with it. Just make it clear you won't be getting drawn in (e.g. where have you put....? Can you just hold this?)

Yesterday was out, shopping, window shopping, lunch out, went to his fav shop to look at things he can't afford, then came back and went on ebay to see if he could get it cheaper which he could, movie and bed:D oh and some wine:D

Are you happy with it? Do you join in and help him, I do sometimes but today fancy being here or not doing much, all this race, race, race makes me laugh, there is nothing that needs doing he just needs to fill his time with something:)

I'm involved now (thought I would end up being:rotfl:) I bought one of those whitening pens from Wilko to colour the rim of the bath which has now gone a bit black with the damp etc , OH said he would do it but cannot find the pen so I am up and down looking for it and cannot find it, hey if I don't then he won't be unhappy as it is one less job:rotfl: I know where it should be but oh no it is not there:)
