  • I pay £14 per month (they come every month) for a 3 storey house, 15 windows, 2 sets of patio doors and front door. Can't make my mind up now if I am over paying....

I do my own, but even if it gets to the point when i can't manage the ladders and have to find someone i'd want them inside.

Karcher window Vac - yes I shall have to get one. It would pay for itself in two window cleaning sessions.

Yes buy one.I am not sure if the reduced one i put in the link is still available. But dont buy the one with all the extras just get the basic one.And not sure if the Karcher cash back is still going but if it is buy one now
Its not only good it takes hardly anytime at all to clean windows as its so quick. You just need a microfiber cloth and i use one of those washing scourers for non stick pans to get any dried in muck off the window.
Maybe father Christmas will bring you one :j

9 windows at the front, 8 plus two sets of patio doors at the back. They use the extending pole system and charge £15.

£5 per month. Window cleaner does two bay windows and a single window. It is a terrace house. He does alot of the neighbours too. I get him to check the guttering in the winter as well.

I clean my own because the windows open in a certain way that I can reach the outside of the upper windows, from inside. I never do them all in one go, just one at a time, as and when I feel like it, and only when they really need it. :D

  • I pay £10 every 6 weeks for a 3 bed detached in Hampshire. That includes frames and no streaks so worth every penny.

Where we used to live it was about £14 and he did a dreadful job more smears when he left than when he started.

I clean the insides myself, ecloths and a steamer are an unbeatable combination.

I love cleaning windows but my husband got fed up with me ganging precariously out of windows.
Can I ever learn this budgeting lark? So far it's not looking promising
