Appealed but requiring more information

Hi,
I emailed my appeal to NTC and got an auto-generated response which I've pasted below:
We have received your email in relation to a parking charge notice issued by us.
In order for us to process the appeal you must supply the name and address of the driver or registered keeper of the vehicle at the time of the incident. If you do not do this then your appeal will not be processed.
Likewise if you are not the driver or registered keeper the appeal will not be processed and we will not notify you further.
Do I have to provide this information? I noticed a few letter templates for this sort of appeal said you should refuse to provide the details of the driver. What is the harm if I do this?
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you already given your address?
Was the ticket on the windscreen?
If so when?
If you havent given your address you can give a service address0 -

Right thats good
This is an IPC company and you can use the services of a company who provide what's called a service address, basically taking the ticket off your hands for a very low fee. The parking company then dont get your address:)0 -

Sorry, this is my first ticket and I'm not sure what you're suggesting I do?
The email states if I don't provide an address the appeal won't be processed.0 -
Right
NTC is part of an organisation called the IPC which do not have an open and honest appeals system. You do have to give an address but you dont have to give your own address if you dont want to
There is a company who will provide you with an address you can use which is known as a service address. This means you wont be hassled by the parking company, simply because they will reject your appeal
The charge for this I believe is around £12.000 -

Ok thanks for the explanation, this is new to me.
The sign at the car park had a BPA logo on it. Are they 100% not affiliated with them anymore? Would using a service address completely stop them pursuing me? Could they not gather any information from a request to the DVLA?
Say if I weren't going to respond to the ticket, how would they then get my address and send demanding letters?
So you don't believe an appeal to them could be successful?0 -
No nothing to do with the BPA
They would get the address from the DVLA.
By using a service address stops all that0 -
I feel that I don't need to use a service address because I have a strong case when appealing. My dad recommended providing them with his work address.0
