hmmm pretty sure your statement is not a fact at all.
Literature I have read has come from all over the world.
Dream interpretation dates back to 3000-4000 B.C.
If you have a link stating that dreams haven't been studied in these countries would love to read it.

I find stress coincides with my craziest dreams. They're always more vivid and unsettling if I have something stressful on my mind.

Last night I dreamt my dog gave birth to a pony :D
  • I tend to dream more after eating cheese, cream etc so I try avoid it. My most vivid dreams are when I have woken up about 4am for a toilet visit & then gone back to sleep - very strange dreams!

The only re-current dream I have is about my dogs - they both passed away over 10 years ago & I decided not to get another one. My dream is always about me suddenly realising I haven't fed the dogs for days & I get really upset - it wakes me up feeling upset. These dreams only started in the last year so what can it mean please Pukka?

The burden of proof lies with you providing empirical evidence that dreams have been constantly and continuously studied throughout time across all the populations of the places I mentioned.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

You regret having allowed certain things to become closed to you. You would like to re-explore them. But you are afraid you won't be competent to do it.

Hi there, dogs represent feelings of loyalty and affection, the fact that you aren't feeding these dogs, in effect neglecting them then I would think that perhaps you are feeling betrayed or feeling a lack of affection, or perhaps you feel you yourself are being disloyal or lacking in affection in some part of your life x

I have recurring dreams about being invaded. Sometimes they're aliens, other times just an "enemy". Strange thing is, they're not frightening, even when I get captured, or nearly caught. They're kind of fun in a way, a bit like watching a film, although I'm involved.

I've put them down to me having cancer.

My husband could never remember dreams. Ever. Only when he had cancer did he start having dreams he could remember when he woke up. He even had a couple of awful nightmares.
