I do find if I am coming down with something, I experience "hassle" dreams. Hard to put into words but they are petty, silly dreams.
  • Possibly medication, or lack of sleep and going straight into REM

So you think dream analysis is a load of crap yet you believe in ghosts :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Seriously, I've had a pm dream analysis from pukka and she was spot on.....I have no idea who she is and she has no idea who I am but she was still on the money.

I was being sarcastic with my last comment 😛

In regards to your comment I'm sure there are plenty of people who have been to a psychic who say they were spot on. Is there really any difference?

It's not that I don't believe dreams represent what your subsonscience is feeling I just don't think it can be that specific. If you have a disturbing dream it's certainly reasonable to assume something is bothering you in life. However I don't believe someone having a dream about a scary clown would be having exactly the same issues as someone else having a dream about a scary clown. There is just nothing linking the two.

Ill be honest I don't really dream but when I do have one I'm happy to have it analysed. I'm open minded, I just don't see how a dream can have the same meaning in different people.

I often have wild vivid dreams if I have too much sleep, or if I think I'm in a deep sleep after a lot of alcohol, when in fact, you don't sleep properly when you're ahem, tipsy.

Definitely keep clear of caffeine - tea/coffee/fizzy drinks), eat way before going to sleep, and don't force yourself to go to bed unless you're very tired (for a while, at least).

I've always suffered from this, drives me mad. Sometimes the dreams are full-on nightmares, sometimes they're just weird, but they're always incredibly vivid, detailed and exhausting.

I often think I'd feel more rested if I didn't bother going to bed.

I exercise, don't drink, have very little caffeine (occasional chocolate, no tea/coffee) but nothing's ever stopped them.

I suffer from mental dreams as well. Ones where I'm panicky in the dream will often wake me up and, even though I know it's not real, that feeling of unease can stay with me all day. I've tried various different things to stop it and about the only way I can guarantee I won't have hideous dreams is to be so drunk that I'm practically comatose. That doesn't tend to make for a very good night's sleep though... :)

I have recurring dreams about being invaded. Sometimes they're aliens, other times just an "enemy". Strange thing is, they're not frightening, even when I get captured, or nearly caught. They're kind of fun in a way, a bit like watching a film, although I'm involved.

I've put them down to me having cancer.

Izadora i think you could really benefit from dream analysis, if this is something you are interested in i will analyse via pm, if disclosing them on here is too much.

The point is the focus of the dream wouldn't be about the scary clown, it would be about how that clown made you feel, what sort of situation you were in when you saw the scary clown etc. An interesting fact is that world wide there are about 100 dreams that people are most likely to have but with variations so the basic meaning is the same but the brain will tailor it to fit with your own experiences etc that way it is familiar to you and is more likely to be recognised.

There have been no studies involving the past and present populations of India, China, Africa and South America - which makes your "fact" nothing more than a myth.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
