I think that's a question to ask sky directly. I would think that free meant free........
Or check online. I just checked mine and it shows the increase in the line rental on my bill which goes out normally in the first week of the month. The price rise now shows on my November bill.0 -
Not everyone has telephone from Sky. They are still primarily a TV provider.General_query wrote: »20 odd replies, is that it?0 -
I read your post, yesterday, so asked the question when I renewed my contract (also free line rental) and was told that there will be no extra to pay, as with prepaid.General_query wrote: »BE Broadband to SKY switcher here.
As I don't pay for the line rental, will they now bill me £1 a month extra for the increase or am I protected in my 12 month FREE line rental offer which began in June this year? So, they will take £16pm now?
I had free tv, until recently and received a letter saying my package was increasing by £1 from September, but no extra was charged.
I cancelled 1571, anyway, as the message kicks in too soon and the timescale cannot be altered.0 -
Thanks everyone, just a bit impatient me !

Hmmm. Plusnet through Quidco offering £175 cashback plus I get BT Sport for free. I currently have a year free broadband and 6 months free line rental with Sky. Should I cancel and switch?0

£15 is a total rip off as the TOC's only pay £8 wholesale from BT. I wish I had a 7% pay rise each year.Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0

I re-contracted with Sky 2 months ago, didnt want to pay the price increase as we agreed a price for 12 months so I expect to pay that price.
I telephoned them and spoke to retentions and said I'm not paying it and they offered me £5 off my bill for the next 12 months and a price freeze on everything for 12 months.
You dont ask you do get
