Calculated by an industry that employs highly skilled number crunchers and IT to give them a competitive edge in order to price their product to attract customers.

Then they quote me £300 at renewal, I go on their website and it's £250, I go on moneysupermarket.com and it's £200.
    These people right?

Not if you understand how insurers price.

It has a lot to do with people buying insurance based on who is the cheapest.

The cheaper prices are subsidised you give as examples are subsidised by the existing customers who renew at the higher prices

Well these 'highly skilled' people tried to rip me off, but I got it a lot cheaper, and next year they can poke it up their arse.

What if no one renews with them?

We get every one on a cheaper policy and an idea of the true cost of insurance.

These insurance boffins must be thick as, they quoted Justin £300 and he got it for £200 66% of the original quote. Thinking he would say yes please. He worked it out and voted with his feet. Top man.

And it's claimed these people can work out statistically why if you go to some hole in Wales for a weekend away, a drunk hits your car and you vow never to got to the county again, you are a greater risk to them.

I think it's more worrying the amount of people who believe them.

People will renew with them, if they don't then they adjust their new business prices.

The way Insurers price benefits people such as Justin as he shops around he gets the cheaper prices subsidised by the people who don't shop around

Well , its sort of out of our hands now , were chasing our tail with the hire cars insurance company , still havent heard from their crash repair people , and feel we are just better off calling our own insurance co up and getting them to deal with it , at least it is no fault at the least, and liability is admitted

We are leaving this company at renewal in two weeks , i`m assuming they should treat us no differently due to that?
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

I hope you don't have them retract the admission of liability.

well , it`s been admitted by the driver herself , the hire company , and the hire companys insurance company , and it was from behind , so even if they did , i think we would win
