    What does that mean?

Also, I am not impressed on you changing your posts after someone has quoted them.

You have tried to clarify what 'the website' was.

I'll leave you to it now.

Does your business have any earnings history, I don't see how you claim loss of earnings for a business you were only just starting. You might have earned £0 even if you had the laptop you could use.

its in network marketing and there is predicted earnings....if i was spending the time on my buisness instead of sorting this out? Syncing my devices to duplicate information and setting myself up properly is key too duplicating to my future buisness patners. Am i better off just requesting the money for the loss off data? Which also contained training audios and one i had recorded myself (which took me 48h hours) i had too start again from scratch after finally accepting they were not going to help me, and unfortunately my motivation for a new buisness turned to aggrivation. Im detoxing off some heavy medication and wanted to share my story to help others with what ive learnt about health.

Does Apple Care apply for businesses or just consumers?

If it's the latter, I think you'd be hard pressed to claim for a business loss, even more so if you haven't got any history of your earning potential.

If it is the former, I would imagine you would need to show evidence of what you have actually lost, not just what you predicted you may have lost. Otherwise there would be nothing stopping me saying I was starting a new business and company x have cost me £y as that is what I thought I would make, even if it was just a figure I've plucked out of the sky.

If it is a business contract, you have fewer rights than a consumer and it would depend mainly on what the Ts&Cs are as to their liability.

This website you speak of... is it an Apple owned website, or some other arbitrary website on the internet?

I guess, or I hope, it's an Apple site as otherwise that is not an issue for Apple to resolve.

That's just a small example about how difficult it is to get to the bottom of your issues.
You need to be more precise.

Its a network markting website. Is it only within their warranty to use safari for apple only websites? Im sorry my posts are all over the place....i type slow as i have bad wrists and im getting defensive as everybody keeps telling me different things from day 1.

Applecare is not there to teach you how to use the internet and software or basic research skills - it’s an insurance policy.

Any company will find it really difficult to help if you cannot explain your problem clearly or if you omit important information such as there was even an external drive connected or that it wasn’t new.

I’m not sure how you managed to erase the contents of your external drive instead of the drive inside your Apple

As others have said, freedom of information does not apply outside of the UK government

It’s rare that compensation covers the cost of data rather than e.g. replacement hardware/software.

The absolutely best thing you can do would be to sign up to some computer/internet courses at your local college.

    Very good point:

The Apple Care terms and conditions state:
8.1.4 SUBJECT TO CLAUSE 8.3, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ANY LOSS OF INCOME, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF CONTRACTS, LOSS OF DATA OR FOR ANY OTHER INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND HOWSOEVER ARISING AND WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE.

    and
8.2.4 Subject to clause 8.2.2, if you are not a consumer, Apple’s maximum liability whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any loss or damage caused by it or its employees or agents under and / or in connection with this Plan shall be limited to a sum equivalent to the amount which you paid Apple for the Plan.

    https://www.apple.com/legal/sales-support/applecare/appmacuk.html

So it sounds like you might be able to get the cost of Apple Care back but nothing else.

Thanks for your advice. It a biz contract. Ive started a buisness within a buisness and there is average earnings estimated by the company im part off. This is not a figure plucked out of thin air as we are legally obliged to give the correct information to others who may want to do the buisness. What about the stress its caused and the affect it had on my health? This wasted another month off my time.

Is there somwhere i can get my form checked before i submit it?

When i got my laptop at pc world i said i wanted to to get an apple mac for their applecare support as i was inexperienced. Am i better off complaining to them do you think? I have openly asked for help every step of the way with everyone i came across because ive always admited ive only every used my ipad or old lap top for my itunes.

Unless you told them you wanted free tech support then no. Apple care is brilliant but it's not a primary school IT course. Nobody would expect them to handhold you through using the computer, that's not applecare

Your business sounds like some pyramid weird thing anyway, you have thousands of business partners? No technological knowledge yet have predicted earnings? How can you run a network marketing business with zero knowledge?

Stress and affect on your health? SERIOUSLY?

Also if you're setting up a business learn to spell business.
