I wish I could get flu jab. too young and no illnesses. Thankful for that of course but about 15 years ago I took flu 2 years in succession around January/February. I can tell you I never suffered like it for nearly 2 weeks each time. I would honestly have welcomed death. A lot of people take a small dose of the cold and think they have flu. They are better after a couple of days. Trust me, if you get the proper flu you will know it and remember it. Get your jabs!
I started out with nothing......And still have most of it left:p
  • I've had it.... Always do.... Never any issues....
Get it if you can... why would you not?

I'm sure you can have it if you ask for it. Maybe there's a small fee, I don't know. At any rate it's worth asking your GP about.
  • Got the jab about 2 weeks ago.

No reaction at all. Have been getting the jab for the last 20 seasons without any problem or flu.

Don't mess about --get the jab ASAP!

Had mine saturday and spent last 3 days in bed in agony - but I have Myalgic Encephalopathy so I was not surprised it exacerbated my pain levels

One thing I noted in the link which maybe some people haven't thought about - if you care for, or call on, a vulnerable person - such as elderly parents - then you need to get the jab because you could pass the flu virus onto them.

    What do you think Cotta?
