Sorry, that's more for the 7.5 tonners - Garages were pretty crap, but I find all lorry garages seem to be.
I've not much experience of vans, but recent transits drive and go better than a lot of cars, and the rwd ones drift well.

Well that's pretty misleading given that this is a van an entirely different vehicle from their lorries.

I think I'm going to go with the Iveco Daily 35s12 it ticks all my boxes, fuel economy has me concerned just so long as it's not a real drinker, also just hope it holds up for a 1000 mile run across Europe and back, given I'll probably be buying one with around 150k miles on the clock.

Indeed, apologies, wanted to get the acronym in.
Good luck with it, braver than me getting a van which could have had the guts beat out of it for 150k miles :)

If you can buy one off a company who haven't had a problem spending money on it instead of the local builder who had his know it all ''used to be a mechanic'' friend service it occasionally

Right well I've found one for a good price, unfortunately it is ex Royal Mail but the mileage does seem quite good at 125,000 miles.

I got the vin number from the dealer and have the registration does anyone know how I can check the vehicle history to back up the mileage, I suppose I would need to contact Iveco themselves for mileage on the service history?
