I think that the previous generations have stood out based on their great hardware and exceptional pricing.
Sadly, the pricing seems to have now joined the other flagship phone realm. The only difference being that the other majors, their values start dropping after a few months, whereas Google won't reduce the price of this model for at least 6 months.
Whether people believe the pricing to be worth it or not remains to be seen, but personally I think that they've over priced this time around0 -
I have the Nexus 5, BUT having used the super Motorola MotG its very difficult to understand why the Nexus is 3 times the price ???
The Nexus 6 was developed in collaboration with Motorola

As much as I would like to get one it is not that great a step above what i have now. I shall wait for the 610 chipset next year before deciding what to go with I think.
I also think that it is also just a little bit big. I have got used to my 5.5" One Plus One over the last 4 months but i just couldn't go any bigger than that! I would need to have bigger pockets!“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -
Standalone price looks nowhere near as good as the previou ones, but it looks like the contract pricing is better in the US at least. Maybe the network operators have had a word. If the same happens in the UK, then it'll be a switch to the usual way of running a Nexus - get it subsidised by the network instead of buying it SIM free.
Wait for both sets of UK pricing.0 -
I have a nexus 5 and am very happy with it.
Was looking to buy a nexus 6 on a SIM free basis, but price looks quite high.
Happy that the nexus 5 will still receive the nexus android update version 5...so that will do me0 -
