To the OP.....
As with everything in life.... you need to understand the implications of your actions. If you are willing to accept the implications of your actions then act.
I could choose to stop paying my mortgage an buy a beautiful and expensive painting; after a number of months
I can enjoy the beauty in the painting and the emotions this may bring. What I cannot do is then complain about not having a house after the mortgage company reposes my house.
The fact that you have actually asked the question shows that you are not yet at one with your choice of action (very zen like).
Funnily enough I am a bit of a watch fan and many years ago I had been saving up to buy myself a nice Breitling watch only to find that me and the OH were getting very much to the stage where we wanted to move in to a house together. Well, suffice to say the watch fund went on a house deposit.
....the new kick rrrs stereo fund went on solicitors fees.
All these years later (no Breitling) do I regret it..... wife / watch...... wife/watch..... wife/watch..... noooo

I think your right - I am not ready for it... I am in save mode where no essential spending I actually feel guilty about as I know if I continue this for the next 3-4 years I will be in a position where once compounded and hopefully continually invested well... i will be significantly closer to financial freedom than i am now.My Goal: From 1st of Jan 2015 to 31st of December 2015 is to save 30000.
48.78% towards 2015 target.
105.3% towards 2014 target. :j0 -
