marmcarm.Ha ha sorry but that makes no sense to me. I am not thick on the computer and do help friends with their computers when they go wrong but think i need it explained as though i am 10 years old so simple.
Sorry.0 -
It might be easier if you said in what context you are trying to do it.
Those are HTML tags, so used when building a web page. The bits inside the tags tell the browser what you are doing, and creates a clicky directing you to the web address when you click it.0 -
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!
Cos if you do it today and like it...You can do it again tomorrow..

Do you mean when you see something like this that when clicked takes you to that page?

if so, right click on the page url, then scroll down to "copy", right click on "copy" then back where you want it inserted, right click again to paste.

and if this is not what you wanted, sorry, it might help someone. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
IMHO, just copy what I have typed, and remove the stars. You can then change the web address to whatever site you want, and change the 'click here' to whatever you want it to say. Ensure there are no spaces anywhere in the code.
[*url=www.google.co.uk]Click here[/*url]0 -
On THIS forum, the easy way is to type in the text you want people to see (like clicky), highlight that text (using your mouse) then click the
image above the posting box. In the popup that appears enter the web address that you want clicky to go to then click OK.
The above example in full (without stars) would look like this:
I can do this https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5090603 Easy its instead of doing that i want Click here instead or just here.I just going read other replies.

Ok, so now type the following.
[ url=https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5090603saving expert[/ url]
You can copy/paste or type it yourself. Remove the space before each 'url' and you end up with
