Right, what you want to type is this.
[ url='whatever the web address is'] whatever you want the link to look like [/url], but leave out the spaces. I have to put the spaces in as the forum thinks I'm trying to do what you are asking, so leaving them in I cannot show it as it is meant to be typed.
For example, I want my link to say 'BBC News', and it would take me to the BBC news web page. I would type it like this:
BBC News but without the space in between the last 2 characters.
BBC News
The web address can be whatever you want, and also where I've typed BBC News can be amended to whatever, like so.

I am asking how to put a click here from a webpage but the shortened version as others have said is better.
I think its one of those things that when you watch someone doing it you then know how to do it.
