    If the dispute goes to court, you don't defend it and don't pay the resulting county court judgement...yes. So it very important that you defend it at every stage.

    Head over to the parking ticket sub forum (under Motoring) and read the guide for new users on how to appeal - assuming you are talking about one of the private firms not a council
