    yes i saved then right clicked to Run as Administrator.
    It seems to be getting more complicated!
    I found the above link earlier but thanks.
    will have to try later tonight when I have more time,
    also have to back up registry before attempting the latest
    thanks again for your help

    Before you do so, you can again uninstall the Apple software and then use CCleaner's Registry function to Scan and Fix issues. Accept the choice to take a backup of the Registry when offered.

    Which installer are you using? 32 bit or 64 bit? Version?

    I have already uninstalled the apple software
    will use the CC cleaner thanks for that
    used the 64 bit version
