Id be doubtful if anyone could add to that list! it was pretty impressive and definately above and beyond. Well done on that!0 -
Talking of things that are "obvious", or obvious to most people or even obvious to 99% of people but not obvious to a 1%, dare I say therefore deviant, minority (and, yes, on this matter, it is a numbers game), I noticed the reporting of Pistorius, which I made a note of:D but which I now appear to have lost:o given the amount of time that has elapsed, I think it was when he walked out of court after being convicted of what he was convicted of - was it his grant of bail up until the sentencing hearing? - anyway, News Channel reporter said "He looks visibly relieved".
Visibly?!? Not "visible" to me! And therefore he does not look visibly relieved! Not to me at any rate.
That's actually quite good and reporters, like John Simpson for example, they do describe body language and people's expressions in their reports sometimes and that is very useful and helpful in fact!:) To me, Pistorius there didn't "look" anything at all. (If anyone had asked me what he looked, I would have replied "I don't know. At all.")0 -

If I wasn't going to bed, Id have a conversation with you about this
I think SA justice system is terrible. Leaving a decision on one person alone is not a good thing!
We are all human and our perceptions colour our view of things. I have no opinion one way or another, but whether someone is guilty of taking another persons life or not shouldnt rest on one persons shoulders.
And on that note...I AM off to bedgoodnight Savvy, I have, as always enjoyed our exchange

And... Waities were cheaper!:)
Thank you for the OP on the Imperial Leathers (other ones!), in fact I know who the OP was, it was streetlights, so thank you!
Gosh, that's a big voucher in relation to my original spend:eek:. Will have to slip past. That said it was a big voucher against the shop in the first place and that did not get noticed, not in any matter in which I would not have liked! Hastily cobbled together shop - see, I managed it and then went to the store and did it, successfully. Apart from Mullers, the below were the only items I could find that were any good for me vs Waities. There is also A's 6 pint/4 pint milk I believe, but we already have milk from another shopping purchase.

Hartley's jellies used as 'good fillers' if not using comparable-vs-W Mullers. What kind of (fairly) large store has only three flavours available though and no more? That's all that they stocked! I noticed some new pack design on some of them - I checked to make sure the B/Cs were the same on the same flavours between old and new as didn't want a no-show (although perhaps that would have been better - comparing 2 for 10% cheaper than higher price as opposed to 3 for 3.3p each 10%?). Where the old packaging was available, I chose that! Perhaps another watering down again, I don't know? At least one of the flavours may have been watered down previously according to the ingredients list.
That said, even if I had used the Mullers - for example Muller Rices now 180g instead of 190g. Perhaps due another legendary Savvy adjustment for weight calculation to increase the price upwards to work out what price we are really getting them at given that 10g has been lost on each one.
I wouldn't normally have gone for jellies anymore whilst knowingly being aware that the A mbuy would be picked up. They also had me putting a pack of Radish (weight reduction on that maybe? Wasn't it 250g before, although the 200g at least now makes it comparable to Waities but, I suspect, the 10% off W price doesn't make up for any weight loss, if any) - had me putting a pack of radish onto the shop and paying 40-odd p for that, that I would never ordinarily have bought, but only did so as I was getting glitches elsewhere in the shop. Still - paying 40p more than necessary!:rotfl:
Perhaps I missed out on some M "More" points at these £2 for one:eek: body washes? Store didn't have the "Day at Spa" version (of the Imperial Leather) so I'll have to miss out on that one as well:rotfl:0 -

Oh that's getting into a completely different topic, and I'm going to bed now anyway (your post has made no difference to that, as I was already about to go to bed even before I saw it). Thank you FC, as by my reply, now allows me to say goodnight! Goodnight all:D:).0 -
For info., Blackcurrant, Raspberry and Strawberry pick up the M mbuy - and the Radish also the same vs M as vs W (not that I would buy it:laugh:):
Vs M result (extract):

1 x Hartley's Blackcurrant Jelly (135g)£0.34£0.34
1 x Hartley's Raspberry Jelly (135g)£0.33£0.33

Morning All.
Got woken up at 4am by the dog trying to get on the bed. She is 42kg! But thinks if she hides her head under my armpit DH can't see her and send her back down stairs. Gave up trying to get back to sleep at 4.30am.
I have taken up a pair of DH jeans and caught up on here. Now feel tired again! Grrrrr!0
