r u really saying this. remember the thread i abstained from (almost lol) YOU started it welll too early.

We'd all do well to remember that due to his condition, Savvy just doesn't 'get' the politics of it all. He will be the first to admit it. That's why abstaining that time would have passed him by totally, or not affected him at all......he's not wired up to realise it. Same as Locarr mentioning starting a new thread is lost on him.....he doesn't get sarcasm.

It's just about having a bit of understanding......:)

    What?!?

But. yeah, you're right - sort of. If I be totally honest - and risk inflaming and offending at least someone - skip folks and don't read if you might disagree with me - I think it's a little early, I'm aware that some people don't like locarr starting threads (no offence locarr, I'm trying to be neutral on the matter, both locarr and everyone else), really I don't mind (or don't care?) who starts a thread or not - as I have completely no opinion at all one way or another ever on such a matter - and why would I ever have? It's something that is completely a matter of opinion and possibly various friendships - and why would I ever have an opinion on a matter or favour, or disfavour, anyone at all as I am completely neutral and impartial. I don't have opinions on matters that are subjective and can't be assessed on any 'academic' or calculation way. I need a mathematical equation for me to work out who should start a thread, or any thread, or at what time or at all!

The new thread:eek::eek:. You can if you want, although there's nearly 1000 posts of this one still left yet! Only 9/10ths of the way through. Is this some sort of size reduction thing like the supermarkets? If so, I think it's gone way too ridiculous:rotfl:.

I'm just trying to help - whilst, at the same time, trying to walk a tightrope and satisfy everybody all at once.

Ok maybe I should have said you don't get involved in the politics of it. It was actually a compliment :p I meant that it was more about the practical issues to you. I never said that was a bad thing.....at all!
......But the sarcasm does pass you by.

Locarr is being sarcastic Savvy, he's not serious (yet ) it's a subject that has blissfully passed you by, and how Lucky you are ;) sometimes ignorance really is bliss!! :)

Oh, I'm so pleased about that! But, yes, I genuinely am (and am not saying that in a sarcastic or ironic tone).

I think I didn't realise that because, with the words on a page, there's no tone of voice to indicate that's it's being said in a sarcastic way. In RL, I would have got it (probably:o:rotfl:). However I note you got it, even though it was in text!

Maybe you've been "talking amongst yourselves" on various parts of this thread that I have totally missed?! (Rhetorical btw;).)

    I know it was!:)

But yeah, I don't get involved in the politics - instead I sit on the fence and end up with a very very sore bum!:rotfl::rotfl:

Honestly, I'm impartial on this - I don't have any view on the matter of thread starting (or finishing), I have no view one way or the other. And :rotfl:, should there be more than two alternative views, I don't have any view on any other way, or ways, either.(:rotfl:)

Anyway... what does it matter? It's Friday night/Saturday morning!

Good :) I hope you know Id never knowingly offend you. I maybe just understand you in a way that a lot of people don't because of my situation.
I also see the other side of it, that sometimes people don't always get the way that you're thinking.......or rather your thought processes. In reality they aren't something that most people deal with on a daily basis.

I might shut up now :rotfl::rotfl:

But yes it does - to the extent I was even going to word one of my replies to you just now as "in a way in which you say is sarcastic" rather than "in a sarcastic way" - as I don't, from just the text, even know it is there at all and, to me, it's therefore just an assertion on your part which has not been (or not yet been) proven. I don't mean any offence by that - and I'm sure none is taken! But, yes, I don't see any sarcasm in the way in which that was worded and came across as I read [red] it, even though you "obviously" do (or at least, you tell me that there is sarcasm there and, I suspect I have no reason to doubt what you say).

Oh what a shame. I'm so disappointed at that(:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:). That's not meant btw - hence the roll-arounds!
