Why you would want your young daughter to look sexy or why you would think a young child is sexy is scary

My dd and friend had a halloween disco the other night. They are 11.
Everyone was dressed up as the usual.....dead something, vampires, mummies etc etc. One of their friends came in an outfit that I swear was bought in Ann Summers. I asked her what she was and she said ....... A sexy zebra!!! High heels, fur lined hood with hair swept round head to one side, v v v short skirt and zebra hold ups!! !!!!!!?? Her mother is a social worker! To say I was horrified is an understatement :(
Unfortunately, she didn't seem to enjoy herself at all. At one point we had 20 11 yr old girls in rows doing the Thriller dance perfectly in unison and she just stood at the back and afterwards said she wouldn't embarrass herself by joining in!
Most of the night was spent by the others just dancing or bursting balloons lol.....kids stuff, but it was not for her.
I don't understand why her mother got her this costume and let her out of the house in it?
On the way home my dd said "omg mum, what was xxxx wearing, it was sooooooo inappropriate!"

    Thanks.
Second visit today seemed more normal.
There is a room with toaster and microwave plus kettle and supplies for guests to use. The mugs a varying and dad likes bone china. He and his sister had hidden the best 2 they could find behind his cards but we have decided to bring his fav 2 from his house then he has an excuse to keep in his room.

He is so much better mentally. Telly first thing to catch up on news plus been finding new radios stations with less adverts and of course bbc4 story at bedtime. He is having a bash at all the food. He mentioned he would like a pack of rich tea biscuits for his room and his dsis bought in a huge tin of choc biscuits, very nice of her but he can't eat them with dodgy digestion. Still he has something to offer visitors.
He says he overdosed on visitors yesterday a friend in morning, his other sister after lunch then me for an hour before my sister arrived. He likes talking and after 12 weeks of almost silence he realised he had been talking too much and everything ached. He is using less oxygen and his chest infection has gone.

All positive things. He is even joking a bit with the carers.

I have come home feeling he is content. No mention of not staying there so presume a longer contract is being done as was 2 weeks respite originally. Didn't get to pub today but will do next week.

My sister is finding life easier and managing to build up her flexi hours again. She is enjoying the chance to just sit and chat with dad.

    V x

That sounds so much more comfortable for him. You are all so caring xx

Another thing I need to mention went to pick up my c&c order today. The lady who brought me my shopping was very grumpy she looked at my invoice and my balance was £11 ish after I had used some evouchers, and she said that from now on my balance had to be £25 or over even after using evouchers, so if I was wanting to use a evouchers for £25 I had to spend £50, she said Mr A policy had changed.

    Anyone else had this?

    Hi,

This wasn't at Thornaby by any chance, I got the same response last week.
