That was when I first came across MSE when we had big credit card debt, Mr TS had to leave his trade due to back problem, and our income went down drastically. We built up huge debt over £10k and that didn't include the mortgage.

He eventually got a liveable wage and we chipped off the debt with balance transfer deals and made our final payment the month before he got made half redundant. And up until mum passed away we managed to live off half a wage with no debt and help of the Elite. :A

Paying our mortgage off was the final thing with what I was left. :)

So it really was mostly down to what you did rather than your inheritance :D You deserve that badge :D
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

We get those types too nanny...Ive no real problem with the little ones that are dressed up and knock before 6pm...but after that I'm afraid I'm not so hospitable and we do tend to move to the back of the house where we cant be seen so easily!

It just really surprised me this morning when the door went at 8.30 and 2 smallish children were stood there dressed up....I was expecting the postman!

You sure it wasn't the postie in the most convincing costume ever?

Good morning wacky :Anow she is cute and if she knocked on the door that would be fine but it's the teenagers that don't dress up and just put on a mask and want money not sweeties

I can imagine that a lot of people would feel intimidated, especially if living on their own. :(

Fingers crossed you get a peaceful evening. :A

Thanks I guess it was. :)

It was really odd how things were timed, the last payment coinciding with him losing half his job. Because we had ploughed good couple of hundred or more into our debts each month once I found the Elite we didn't notice too much Mr TS going down to half a week. (35 hrs to 18.5 hrs)

It was just manageable, I had good stocks of most things, I now realise far too much from everything I have relocated to my stash room last few weeks. :o

From your shop it is apparent that the asda price per yogurt is 68p each whilst the compared price is 50p each. This means you get 18p per yogurt back plus 10% of the 50p (5p) - 23p. So having paid £4 for 10 yogurts and £1.36 for 2 yogurts = £5.36 you get an APG of (12 x 23p) £2.76. The 12 yogurts have cost you £2.60 or 21.7p each.
