hi all, I went to morries and got 2 of the Hardys Stamp for the extra points, but they didn't go on the receipt. Customer service tried to tell me allsorts, points will go on in 72 hours, no points when item is on offer, you cant get two lots of points on one item etc. So I said just give me a refund then please I don't want the wine. She said she couldn't give me a refund as they cannot take the points back!!!! I said so you are denying me my consumer rights because your system is faulty? She was told to do a trial transaction on her till, and asked for the wine and my match and more card, she then cancelled the transaction. She then gave me the refund, and said I could phone them up and ask for the points to be taken back. I said I am not going to lie as I wont be doing that. So I got to keep the 4620 points for no spend. Just looked online and the same number of points are showing twice so I think the trial transaction put points on my card too!!! 9240 points almost £10 in vouchers. Hope this helps someone0

In M Hardy's Stamp Shiraz red wine also has 2000 bonus points and matches T and various other stores at £5. Careful though as this or Chardonnay didn't add the bonus and needed a trip to cs.

fairclaire wrote: »Is there a possibility it's because of this? From M&M T&C. I read that as for this type of promotion all the items need to be the same.
Taken from the table of how they apply different promotions:
Save X% when you buy Y products
All products must be the same and all have the same price
For example:
Save 25% off the total cost when purchasing 4 bottles of the same wine. E.g. a bottle of wine costs £10, so when 4 are bought it costs £30.
I could be off the mark. I suppose the only way of knowing would be to buy 6 the same and see what happens?
I think that's talking about the competitor promotions? If so, what's likely to have happened here is that M's system is apportioning M prices - i.e. taking into account the 25% off that you actually pay and then comparing that to the straight price (I assume it's straight 'half price' or something at T) at the competitor.
Does the number of points that were got reflect the difference between the 25% off pricing - the actual bill you paid in M - and the difference of that to T's price? If so, in other words it would work out no better than just buying at the cheaper price in T (I assume T cheaper even after M's 25% off offer). Or else the comparables etc. The price on the whole lot that you bought may be refelcted, like an mbuy promotion, and then compare on each item's price with 25% off vs the competitor's price when comparable. A bit like those bloomin' 3 for £1 biscuits on the APG in A! 33ps:( vs 60p elsewhere on the comparable and 33p/34p vs N/A on the one that's not.0 -

Also Quorn mini sausages which I can't find a pic of. All were £1 except one item which was £1.40, I can't remember as I forgot to take my phone so I could make notes
Thanks! I went too, as there was something else I needed to go for, and at least I know where I stand on my shopping list preparation vs M now. I found them at straight £1.99. I went onto another store on the way back. The useless store was showing straight £1.99 and not 3 for £5 - useless aren't they when they get the pricing on the shelf correct?:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
The lynx g/t isn't usually one of the cheap ones, and this I/L is also a good one. When all 3 cost £1 give or take a few pennies, (i'm sure someone will or has worked this out :rotfl: )it's well worth it, even with fillers. My shop posted just before this one had a few less fillers and some other things that I needed anyway.
Three in a row, maybe...?;)
