They don't have to know the password, they will have a piece of software that searches email addressed and then tries random passwords until it gets the right one.

I could be off the mark. I suppose the only way of knowing would be to buy 6 the same and see what happens?

No ,I did get the full 25% discount.
I didn't buy 6 Gallo as it would have been capped at 10000 points if it had worked.

I've just noticed I was only awarded £1 for the free cider and it was £2 needless to say they have received an email.

It could depend on what options you set up for password retrieval

Your computer could be infected with a key stroke logger

You might have signed in at some point over an unsecured network

You might have signed in somewhere and not signed out

Someone might have seen you key in your password

Etc

Wahay in the middle of catching up thinking hum wonder if anyone on here watched this band lol. Not my first concert but did get to see Saxon and meet Biff afterwards (BF's of the time hero). Otherwise 10cc was my first (Manchester Apollo), then Paul Young (with QTips) College of Ripon & York St John (Ripon), Bad Manners (Ripon), and Prince 5 times of course (last one Leeds this year).....

No, what I mean is even though you qualified for 25% off Instore.....that reads to me like your 6 wines would have had to be the same to qualify for a M&M comparison for that type of promotion.
I don't know if Im explaining it clearly, I know what I mean

It is just guess work at the moment I suppose.
