Bubbs this has happened to me now on two occasions . Home shopping Cs was rubbish on both occasions and told me to go instore for a refund as they couldn't see I was due one, I don't think they understand online/instore discrepancies! Probably for the best. The first time I got a full refund and the second they just sold em me at the sel price which was rtc.
One of these was from the laundry detergent. I was owed £60 cash and £10 vouchers. Never bothered with the voucher refunds. Then again I never do. It's the only loss I ever really make in A, they are very good to us ;)
Therefore my advice is got go into you cc store and see cs, they'll sort it easy enough I imagine x

ooh this is a difficult on. If she has not been to a nightclub, it maybe that she has chosen not to and would not be happy to go. But maybe she would be secretly happy about it.

    How old is the hen?

    :p:p

She is 26, with a 2 year child. She is not a party girl in any sense, much prefers her own company and never ever comes out with any of the girls, even though everyone always asks.

Good news. OH coming home today. Just waiting for a call for when to collect him. :T

Got one of those cards from the post office yesterday where you have to pay excess postage. £1.20
Today got an email from Astar pets saying a number of people have been charged excess postage for a trolley coin thing they sent out and to let them know if it applies to me.
So Im guessing that is what my £1.20 is required for.
But I wont know, unless I go down the post office or stick the number of stamps required etc.
Wondering if its worth getting now
On the other hand I will be always wondering what it was :o

:j:j Glad he is on the mend.

    Hi there!

Such a disappointment. I failed to complete my shopping. I was originally going to do a "proper" shop for food, of about £10 spend, vs Morries. Then I figured that one of those Impulse sets might make a good gift for Christmas, so why not spend £10 first on those and then do the "proper" shop from the return from that, rather than reducing the £10 down by at least half by doing the proper shop vs Morries straight away.

You are going to have to come to the store with me, point out and show me the exact position and exact look of the necessary Impulse on the shelf and then rub it right in my face. I couldn't see them for staring. And me, that (supposedly:rotfl:) sees and finds every item when in Morries.

I had no problem with the Oil Elixirs - plenty of those in stock and easy to see. In theory, I know what the Impulses look like as I can see what they look like online, or supposedly look like. But I need to see them in the flesh to know what I'm looking for. Are they just a single thing of nail polish or vanish in a plastic pack with another thing inside there? How big are they? For anyone that found them, did you find them in the same aisle with the JFs/Head & Shoulders or are they somewhere else? Which aisle in the store did you find them in (not number but what type of products?)? Are these "Impulse sets" only available in the large Supercentre stores and not the ordinary superstores like this? Are they actually gift sets of the proper substantive kind, or is it just a little bit of vanish and an accessory? You know I have a total blank area in things like this. If they are a "gift set", what do you mean by "gift set"?

I had my Banana, my Onion and my Carrot, all carefully weighed out in order to make up the bill (and the numbers). I even asked one of the SAs and they initially thought they were in an aisle with the nail stuff, which I had already checked and couldn't see any items that were marked as in the mbuy offer there at all. :rotfl:I wondered if she might remark "Oh, the ones to go with the Oil Elixirs?":rotfl::rotfl:, but she didn't. Always feel a bit not wanting to ask when getting trigger items. Presumably they don't know what's on here or, if they do, they support the ethos of the Elite and want to find the triggers in the store for us. They looked and couldn't find where they thought they were. They then asked a colleague and they thought no Impulse sets had been in that store. Maybe my store just removes all trigger items so I can't get them, maybe someone on high in my store watches here and immediately takes them off the shelves in my store! I certainly feel that way: this store has a nasty habit of being "conveniently" OOS on normal items that are very good vs my chosen competitors sometimes!:rotfl::rotfl:

    Savy

They are one tin of Impulse, with the nail products on the side. Not all A stock them, and they put them in different places in different stores!

If I cannot find them, I ask a SA. I am sure they hide them!!!!

    :p:p:p

    how about this x

Girl's Christmas Mini Break including Hotel & Dreamboys Tickets (Various UK Destinations) just £29.50 Each!

That sounds brilliant, not sure her OH or mine for that matter would like us seeing the Dreamboys, but its a special occasion, and what he dont know wont hurt him eh!!!!!!!
Hi Sarah, if your sil is not really a party girl she may not like the idea of a nightclub how about a spa day/weekend at a country retreat. There are some fabulous packages available if you look around.
Centre parcs have good twilight packages for evening spa treatments too.
    Hth

Edit: does she like /drink wine... You could go on a wine tasting weekend

No she is not a drinker at all, very rarely have I seen her drink. Maybe a glass at christmas, its really hard work, when they much prefer to stay in.

I have tried to suggest some things to her, and by the sound of it, she would like a spa day and a meal.

So think that is what I am going to look for, as dont want to push her into something that she is not comfortable with at all.

So if you see any great deals on spas and meals out, let me know.

I have put B&M on my list to do tomorrow… as they would be lovely in the garden.

We are currently trying to settle on a name for DS3's girlfriend, one that is not derogative!

The people I work with have named DS1 girlfriend 'The Evil One'.

They call DS2's girlfriend, reindeer girl.

But DS3 girlfriend is in need on a name… I have banned them calling her 'miserable one' and 'depressed' 'ignorant' and 'I only want to spend all my time with my boyfriend, and want him to stop having friends, and stop working when I want him with me, girl!'

I think I am going to settle on 'Pj girl' as this is all she EVER wears……if she wears them on Sunday when she comes out for a meal with us (she normally reclines to our offers as she does not like to be with anyone other than DS3) I will not be happy!

    :o:o:o:o
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: i'm glad only ds1 is old enough to have a girlfriend :rotfl::rotfl: although ds3 has one he only sees her in school really so that doesn't count :D
