Elite 11+ - Fleecing a supermarket near you!

Hi there!
Such a disappointment. I failed to complete my shopping. I was originally going to do a "proper" shop for food, of about £10 spend, vs Morries. Then I figured that one of those Impulse sets might make a good gift for Christmas, so why not spend £10 first on those and then do the "proper" shop from the return from that, rather than reducing the £10 down by at least half by doing the proper shop vs Morries straight away.
You are going to have to come to the store with me, point out and show me the exact position and exact look of the necessary Impulse on the shelf and then rub it right in my face. I couldn't see them for staring. And me, that (supposedly:rotfl:) sees and finds every item when in Morries.
I had no problem with the Oil Elixirs - plenty of those in stock and easy to see. In theory, I know what the Impulses look like as I can see what they look like online, or supposedly look like. But I need to see them in the flesh to know what I'm looking for. Are they just a single thing of nail polish or vanish in a plastic pack with another thing inside there? How big are they? For anyone that found them, did you find them in the same aisle with the JFs/Head & Shoulders or are they somewhere else? Which aisle in the store did you find them in (not number but what type of products?)? Are these "Impulse sets" only available in the large Supercentre stores and not the ordinary superstores like this? Are they actually gift sets of the proper substantive kind, or is it just a little bit of vanish and an accessory? You know I have a total blank area in things like this. If they are a "gift set", what do you mean by "gift set"?
I had my Banana, my Onion and my Carrot, all carefully weighed out in order to make up the bill (and the numbers). I even asked one of the SAs and they initially thought they were in an aisle with the nail stuff, which I had already checked and couldn't see any items that were marked as in the mbuy offer there at all. :rotfl:I wondered if she might remark "Oh, the ones to go with the Oil Elixirs?":rotfl::rotfl:, but she didn't. Always feel a bit not wanting to ask when getting trigger items. Presumably they don't know what's on here or, if they do, they support the ethos of the Elite and want to find the triggers in the store for us. They looked and couldn't find where they thought they were. They then asked a colleague and they thought no Impulse sets had been in that store. Maybe my store just removes all trigger items so I can't get them, maybe someone on high in my store watches here and immediately takes them off the shelves in my store! I certainly feel that way: this store has a nasty habit of being "conveniently" OOS on normal items that are very good vs my chosen competitors sometimes!:rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Well done tweets on your weight loss.
Nannylala, enjoy your night out and good job you were not in the room when shelving fell.
FC, (((hugs))) must be hard for you, at times.
Had a very non MSE day yesterday, Harley went to vets to be castrated, which was fine in cost, £59.00, not bad really.
Before we went though I put his collar on, and spotted a huge lump on his nose, so asked the vets to check it out, turned out to be a tick gone infected, £166.00 later, for removal, antibiotics, and inflammatory tablets :eek::eek::eek::(:(:(
:j:j On another note, also picked up my framed picture, of the alphabet letters that westie kindly took for me. :j:j What a lovely wonderful lady she is.
Thank you
Hope Harley is ok give him a hug from me (((X)))0 -
