 I have over £300 ...
In my defence I did the Nectar credit card sign ups and must have done other promotions along the way (oh yes, Viking ).
I never have fathomed out what to spend them on though.

Odd times I get BP petrol and I things from Homebase and I also get points from Ebay for purchases. I also do any surveys they send any. I womble the odd receipt. I also get points if something Ive donated gets sold in Oxfam. I have the Yahoo toolbar and one evening a month I do a hundred random searches and get 100 points. I also make good use of any extra points till spits.
There are numerous ways of getting nectar points with very little actual instore spend.
£300 worth - that sounds like a tablet or such like?
I have not got that many - I don't really like to go over about £150.
Ive used mine before to get Amazon gift cards so I've topped up my amazon credit so I always have some credit ready for a good offer. Our first sat nav was bought with nectar points as was the deckchair for OH - he seems to get a lot of treats.
Ive got household stuff in the sale for 2 of my offspring when thye were setting up their own places.
I tend to use them for sale items eg a set of headphones for youngest child, a coffee maker, a big cooking pot for OH ...
I also buy stuff in Argos with my points.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

I think it was only a 2 day wonder.
do you have to scan these till spits with your next shop or have they gone on automatically?“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Got to organise a hen night, for my sister in law to be.
She is not really a party girl, but all her friends are, and the ones that have approached me, have said they would like her to go to a nightclub as she has never been
I went to a fab hen night a few years ago, but it was another sister in law and she is really fussy, and if I copy hers, she will be really funny about it.
Any suggestions on what we could do, and where. We are based in the midlands, but can travel anywhere.
Have a look at Groupon and Livingsocial - it will at least give you some ideas and then you can make a list of things she will def loathe and hate with a passion and things she might like“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Have had one of those cards from RM saying I have had an item with not enough postage  I have to pay £1.20. Wonder what it is? Knowing my luck it'll be a freebie :rotfl:
Did u send off for the Astar pets trolley coin. I got an email from them this morning saying some people had been asked to pay extra postage and to let them know if it happens to me.
I haven't done anything about it yet so don't know if it was the trolley coin.0 -

No i know she doesnt, just thought of you when i saw them
I have put B&M on my list to do tomorrow… as they would be lovely in the garden.
We are currently trying to settle on a name for DS3's girlfriend, one that is not derogative!
The people I work with have named DS1 girlfriend 'The Evil One'.
They call DS2's girlfriend, reindeer girl.
But DS3 girlfriend is in need on a name… I have banned them calling her 'miserable one' and 'depressed' 'ignorant' and 'I only want to spend all my time with my boyfriend, and want him to stop having friends, and stop working when I want him with me, girl!'
I think I am going to settle on 'Pj girl' as this is all she EVER wears……if she wears them on Sunday when she comes out for a meal with us (she normally reclines to our offers as she does not like to be with anyone other than DS3) I will not be happy!:o:o:o

I got one of those cards yesterday too.
Did u send off for the Astar pets trolley coin. I got an email from them this morning saying some people had been asked to pay extra postage and to let them know if it happens to me.
I haven't done anything about it yet so don't know if it was the trolley coin.
Quite possibly. I never remember what I've sent off for and am always getting surprises. I haven't checked any e mails yet today, so I'll have a look. Thanks for the heads up
COS is really playing up today. It keeps logging me out when the receipt is uploading. Been and got my free cider x 2 and now free 6 pack of Catfood has appeared that wasn't there earlier. No time to go back out now, it'll have to wait.0 -
Good news. OH coming home today. Just waiting for a call for when to collect him. :T
Got one of those cards from the post office yesterday where you have to pay excess postage. £1.20
Today got an email from Astar pets saying a number of people have been charged excess postage for a trolley coin thing they sent out and to let them know if it applies to me.
So Im guessing that is what my £1.20 is required for.
But I wont know, unless I go down the post office or stick the number of stamps required etc.
Wondering if its worth getting now
On the other hand I will be always wondering what it was
You can ask to see it before stumping up the money and then reject it.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
I thought I would be a good girl and do some cleaning and bed changing. I could not find any clean sheets… so I rang OH and asked where he was hiding them.
He laughed and said I had given all of out bedding away except the one that he has been washing and putting back on the bed…so I could not give that away. Embarrassing!100 -
