I had wondered whether he'd prefer a new Xbox 360 instead, but he only ever plays when his mate comes round, or on his own as practice for when his mate comes round (although he insists that he doesn't and that his FIFA 'skills' are due to his natural talent :rotfl:)

As he's only playing offline I'd assume that either console would be ok?

If he doesn't play online, then it won't matter which console you get.

The only difference will then be in the price. The new blue 500gb xbox 360 is £179.99 at argos

    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/1619744.htm

Compared to around £310 - £350 for the xbox one.

"Why wait for a deal to get a good price?"

 Because deals elsewhere are always better than your "good" prices that aren't good at all (indeed, the contrary, are very bad, expensive, non-deal prices)?

Lol:rotfl::rotfl: I don't think these advertisers and marketers expect me to give answers to their questions that counter the message they are trying to get across:rotfl:.

And my son he applied for over £400.00 worth for him and friends. He and his wife move to a new flat this weekend so an expensive weekend may be on the cards.

I applied for a grands worth :o I think I know which games I'll get, but as long as there's an England game, and a New Zealand game, I'm happy

Also means I can plan my September holiday too :j

We've got a wedding to go to on the date of one of the games so I'm hoping I don't get that one now
