Just had a mooch around town, nothing in the charity shops to grab my attention, but granulated sugar is a good price at B&M.

So have you gone for extra leg room? Might have been better to just add one suitcase and not upgrade legroom as would still have the carry on luggage. Although easy jet limit cabin bag size (which is reasonably large) they do not limit the weight in it. Remember to wear a bumbag or hide an over shoulder little bag under your coat as no handbags if have carry on luggage. I have a friend with a large coat she had pockets sewn on the inside and reckons it is good for another 10 kilos of luggage:eek:
With easy jet the only requirement is size of carry on (which seems quite big) and you must be able to put into overhead locker yourself.

Nearly always ask at gate if any passengers wish to put luggage in hold as loads use free carry one. In that case have a little folding bag to put any magazines in.

I use to use old duty free bags for excess luggage as duty free was extra to bag allowance. Got me through Kuala Lumpur.

Guess you are flying from lgw so will not be on one of dd flights.

Easy Jet now count the duty free bags towards your allowance, so you need to squeeze that into your carry on case too.

I can't say that I find the carry on cases that large myself. They are okay if you are going somewhere only for a long weekend, or even to somewhere you know is going to be hot so can pack shorts and t-shirts. But if you need a few pairs of jeans, a jumper or two as well as your own towels etc, then the carry on case it too small.

    Morning :)

Can anyone recommend a cheap cordless single telephone with answering machine that I can get today please? Our phone rings but then the caller can hear you but you can't hear them. Was going to ask for one for Xmas as knew it was on the way out

Just a thought, have you tried a different phone in that socket? Occasionally that problem can be caused by a line or wiring fault. As for finding a cheap one, make sure it is a cheap one as opposed to an el-cheapo, poor quality affects performance.
