Like soldiers? For instance? I know a lot of them that serve their country and would disagree with you that £74,000 Isnt a lot of money.

Yes I have total respect for anyone that is in the armed forces but if either of mine had wanted to join up I would have done everything in my power to stop them :o
Those lads and lasses are just going from one war zone to another as we are 1 step behind the yanks. I have no idea what they get paid but I know it would be no where near enough for me to risk my life/limbs/mental state.
I go to work and it never enters my head that the person I am talking to will be dead/airlifted out/lost his legs etc by the end of the day.
I mentioned the other day about the horrors on the news well these lads/lasses are seeing it  and yes I do know they signed up for it but I dare bet there would be very few of us if any would swap them never mind the time away from their families.

What would you say they are worth ?

    Evening all

Sorry for being Mia - uni has now started and my time is not my own and my head is battered
Hope all are well I have been playing with Morries new match and more - this is prob all old news for you but this is what I did today
    Today's match and more game

More bonus points instore than on the app including - create your own pizza 14" - bananas - Morries hot pies - new potatoes - condensed milk (£1.12. Pts 100)and Morries rice pudding

    Anyway
Buy 1 item to collect the vouchers
Bought grants whisky - £17.49 less £5 voucher - this created almost £10 worth of points
2nd shop 3 robinsons squash and 1 comfort - all bonus pointers and cheaper elsewhere also created £8.86 worth of points for tomorrow

So along with the spare points from yesterday's test shops I now have £20 worth of vouchers to play this game

    Important info
You can def only add 2 receipts per 2 week period - just tested this !!!
And you can use more than 1 voucher per shop
Whoopsies also create bonus pts but are a negative if doing a price check shop

    Enjoy

I think a lot of people would disagree, in fact most people would.

I do think that everyone who serves the country should be paid appropriately, soldiers, nurses, etc.

The MP's are not held accountable, can you imagine a soldier getting away with half of what an MP does without loosing their job!

As everyone is aware I am a fan of a living wage, but I am also a fan of people having a good wage that they can raise a family on without the need for additional benefits from the state.

Im not wanting to get drawn into this but that reads to me like you are contradicting yourself?
MPs don't get paid enough, you said. Now you are saying that they're not held accountable? So why do they need more money? Are you saying if they were paid more they'd perform better?

If that's so, ask the nurses, teachers, soldiers, firemen, police etc. if they'd perform better on more money. I think you'll find there's not much room for improvement in those professions.

Im a fan of living within your means, whatever they might be.
