FC what did you buy that's hiding in the boot?

I just looked at my Ping Pong receipt £18.55 down to £9.45 (including 12.5% tip) :D :rotfl:

I don't know why it makes me cackle and rub my hands so much...

It would be easier to tell you what I didn't buy  :rotfl::rotfl: I didn't even plan it. It was like being my old shopaholic self just for a day :D
It wasn't all for me I might add :A clothes, shoes, underwear, perfume, toiletries, make up. Clothes for the kids, some bits for Christmas.........you get the idea :o
Oh and I bought something for my OH so I could leave it in the boot with my haul and say 'Don't look in my car, there's a present for you in there' and not be telling porkies.

I haven't fallen off the wagon, I just had a splurge and a blinking good day :D

When we were on holiday there was a Michael Jackson tribute show DH did not like it as it wasnt his early songs(ie Jackson 5) There is no pleasing some people.

No funny stories for us today?

    Nope sorry :(
Got a cute one though :D
My boy has only been riding his bike without stabilisers for 2 days but managed to wobble his way to the shop with me today. He insisted on me putting some of the shopping on his handlebars cos he 'wanted to help mummy"
He looked so god damn cute riding home with the bag banging against his knee. Proud mummy moment :heartpuls:heartpuls

what you have got already sounds fine - that's 5 things to wrap - I would hold back now and don't buy anything else until you see an offer for something he would really really like.

do you set an ideal budget price?

He has the TV, dongle and DVD player already but knows he won't be getting much at Xmas because of this. He only got it because I still felt guilty for being in hospital over his 13th birthday and he had been helping me so much when I got home. Let's just say he'll be a good husband to the lucky person he marries as he leant how to do everything while I was unable to stand for long or bend over.

I don't intend to buy any more because I know I'll buy again nearer Xmas. I note down something I think he might like along with the price and search for it cheaper or decide at what price I'll buy.
I never have a budget but that's because his birthday is a few weeks after Xmas so I try to get a few things in for then too.
In previous years I have a glitchy limit of £200-£300 for both but now he's into teenage years it'll have to go up a bit due to the price of gadgets etc.
I got the two games, dongle and DVD player free due to Toscos double up. That's just reminded me I've also got 3 minecraft lego in double up too for him. I just hope they do the direct double up again in the next one as I should have another £40 of vouchers for it so can get more for free :D but for now I'm just 'window' shopping.
