This is a very good price. Just checked the ISBN number and they are the hardback books, the bookpeople sold these last year for £20

Ta very very much for this - I got them - he is a reader so I know he will like them :T

but you are in very deep trouble:rotfl:, I went back to the main computer after I had finished for the evening to order these books and it was then completely by accident (she says innocently) that I also went to the Tesco wine page and accidentally found the mystery wines and had to make an order ...

    I have no self control

I suppose I could always wrap the wine boxes up for OH for Christmas :D

I did try my three on one of these doggie foods and you would have thought I was trying to poison them by their reaction - shock and horror on their faces - the fox had to finish it :rotfl:

Found a womble for £179.10 earlier and the punter had used 12 x £3.10 vouchers in part payment. I Googled the vouchers and found that they are probably Healthy start vouchers given to pregnant women and families with kids under 4 who receive Income Support, Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance, Income-related Employment and Support Allowance or Child Tax Credit.

Is it wrong of me to wonder how someone on benefits with young kids can afford to spend so much cash on one shop including alcohol, energy drinks and even nearly a quid on two posh cat pouches!!

And seriously, £8 on in-wash smelly things to make your clothes smell nice?? You still need to put in detergent and softener in your machine and these are just beads that you chuck in the drum.

After getting this womble I am beginning to think that having a full time job is way overrated!!:rotfl:

    2 x Lenor Unstoppables In-Wash Scent Booster Beads Lav... £8.00 £10.00
    1 x Russian Standard Vodka (700ml) £11.00 £17.50
    1 x Foster's (12x440ml) £9.00 N/A
    2 x Monster Energy Drink (4x500ml) £6.00 £6.00
    1 x Monster Absolute Zero Drink (500ml) £1.00 £1.00
    1 x Fairy Non Bio Laundry Gel - 16 Washes (592ml) £3.00 £6.00
    1 x Purina Gourmet Perle Tuna & Shrimps in Gravy - Pou... £0.50 £0.55
1 x Felix As Good as it Looks Tuna in Jelly - Pouch (1... £0.48 N/A
I can understand the voddie and the beer a bit and maybe at a push, a small treat for your pu**y, but £8 on beads to chuck in with your washing to make your clothes smell nice when you are on benefits? Seriously??

When was the last time any of us ever spent £179 on a single shop? I don't think I ever, ever have, even in my muggle days and I have been in a full time job for the last 30 odd years.

and then we have the bleeding hearts who say not enough is spent on benefits.....

I think the very good point to take from all this is to question the !!!! that politicians feed us.

'Everything is hunky dory right now, no services are at crisis point, we didn't undersell the Royal Mail so our chums could make money, nurses can't have a pay rise but we HAVE to take 11% on top of an already inflated salary. Everyone on benefits is a scrounger, we can afford to promise to cut your taxes but we can't afford to put money into welfare. It's ok this doesn't affect YOU just the SCROUNGERS. Don't forget to hate hate hate those scroungers now'

I'd laugh if it didn't make me so desperately angry and sad :(

    Evening all!
