    Good morning everyone
Not sleeping very well at the moment so I have just done my slug catching duties, yuck
Interesting reading about friendships, I do not have any true friends only a lot of acquaintance’s.My oh on the other hand has a lot of close friends, I think women have different relationship with friendship than men do, men seem to forgive and forget a lot quicker than women do, just my opinion of course, it is interesting to me, what one person would class as a friend and what another would class as an acquaintances, take for example where we live, the social meeting place is the pub, it is not a boozy pub where people get drunk all the time, it’s a place to meet up have a coffee/drink or a meal, we know everyone and everyone knows us, my oh class most of these people as his friends but I do not, I class them as acquaintances, even though we know more about their personal lives than we should, we have been with them through their highs and their lows. It was only the other day a bloke in the pub, his father has been very ill recently, I asked how he was, unfortunately he had died that morning, the next thing I know this bloke was hugging me and saying how me and my oh are his only real true friends in the pub, at the same time my oh was kicking me under the table and giving me his stern look, basically telling me not to say anything back, he knows me to well
Sorry I am waffling, right off to get another cup of coffee anyone want one, its millicano :rotfl::rotfl:

Interesting reading about friends, I removed myself from much of my social circle when I was going through something heavy. I found that those relationships were hindering my recovery rather than improving it and since I've been much healthier for it

I'm a little one-sided with one of my acquaintances, but that is because she is way, way more busier than I am - I leave it to her to tell me when she has free time, and when she has time for me. It seems to work for us anyway :)

I'm pretty weird though so I think my take on friendships possibly doesn't match everyone elses

:D The pleasure you get when you open a bottle of fizz that you have not had before...........................and its RED fizz (not rose, red :) )

Then you taste it and it tastes like port that has had a fight with a sodasteam and come off worse..hmmmm, disappointed.com

Sparkling shiraz used to be a favourite of mine (*remembers wine wistfully, before remembering I probably already drank my lifetimes worth*)

    What one was it?

No such thing as weird.....just varying degrees of normality :D

    Good morning :)
My DD has just told me she loves me. She very rarely does. Either she really is grateful to me for getting up so early on a Saturday to get her to where she wants to be........or we are all suffering from sleep deprivation.
    (still nice though :D)

Will do, a cup of coffee on its way ;)

Oh the pleasures of accounts homework, very different in my day, it was a very large ledger book, a pencil, a rubber and an abacus:rotfl::rotfl:
