Love Pasta? Want to make it make you fuller for longer, with less calories?

Easy, cool it down, then heat it up again:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-29629761

Exactly what most good restaurants do. Cook it fresh daily, immediately submerge into cold water and keep there cold until required when it should be refreshed by submeging into hot water for a minute or so.
Saves a lot of time at home too if you do it in advance .
  • Seeing mention of a beans glitch got me thinking about the last one so I went and checked my old pics on Dropbox. I know time flies when we're having fun glitching, but is it really as log ago as November last year when we got the cheap Napolina pasta and four packs of Heinz beanz?

Can anyone remember how much the beanz cost in that glitch, was it something like 6p or 8p a tin?

So in theory its a cheaper option than the pasta sauce.....

I have to admit im not the greatest fan of either ncg or lg but when they are cheap I feel obliged to give them a go....and with some lovely homemade additions like garlic bread it makes a meal for us...and even using whoopsied veg I couldnt easily make a soup or pasta sauce for the prices the glitches/vouchers make them.

It would be very difficult to get cheaper than 0p :rotfl::rotfl:

Has anyone else done a withdrawal from COS and not had it reach their bank account? Its OH having a problem - he did it at the end of September.
He has emailed them with the details.

I have only done one withdrawal on mine and I am at the £18 marks so it wont be long now again - I think it shows as Quidco on your bank account statement so you cant miss it.

Mhoc, yes I did.....I requested a withdrawal to my bank account a few days ago, .....I have just checked and it has gone into my paypal account!! I definitely requested it went into my bank....so worth checking your paypal account. It comes up as Maple Syrup Media.

I can't remember the price but as we still have "a few" in stock it was probably a good deal .
