Because they don't lend money. The number is there for decoration only.
All that matters is what information is on your report.0 -
but on both reports theres nothing that suggests I'm a bad person to lend, i have a couple of missed payments from last year, which was then settled.0
-
but two payments to me wouldn't say that I'm a bad person to lend to,
also im not on the electoral roll at the moment, i am moving in a month so would there be any point in putting it on now, as far as i understand councils only tell CRA's once a year who's on the roll0 -
also i can't even get credit builder cards, so there is obvisouly something that companies can see that i cannot0

What possitive credit history do you have?
How long have you been with your current account?
Have you read all three of your credit reports?
Did you check your credit report for all your previous addresses correctly?
Not being on the electoral roll is a bad signChanging the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
these are the two positive factors
The balance of your unsecured lending indicates a lower risk
The number of credit accounts you are using is low
no negative factors
I've got two current accounts, one since 2011 and the other since about 2012
all pref addresses info correct
just read that the electoral roll is a big factor, so maybe thats the reason why I'm being refused, I'm in the military and leaving next month so theres no point updating it now. when I've had credit in the past i was registered so i guess thats it, as my score is 9450 -
Which is completely irrelevant.my score is 945
If you are paying for this, stop. It's a waste of money.
When you move, get yourself on the voters' roll and get that PDL activity well into the past and you will be fine.

Obtain all three versions of your credit file a couple of times a year to make sure there are no errors, but don't buy into this idea you have a credit score.
You don't.
A credit score is a total given to a credit application by a lender on the day you apply for credit and it is compared to the required pass level on that day to decide if you will be accepted. Credit reference agencies can give you a credit score, but they don't know your income, or how long you've been in the same job? This important data is requested by a lender, but a CRA doesn't have, or store it.I am a mortgage broker.
