Bounty kitchen roll 2 pack 1P

  • I don't use kitchen roll so wouldn't take advantage of an offer

I am minimal so would also end up throwing away 49 packets after a week

If people were able to get a huge amount of rolls then good on them but doubt Mr T will only charge a penny

I try only to get a maximum of three months supply of a product at a time

One it doesn't take up too much space

Two in the following three months a similar offer will occur in a high street shop so never really ever gonna have to pay full price for any bathroom product

Can you please step down from your soapbox now?

You've defined *your* version of moneysaving, but care to explain how buying 99 packs at 1p when they're normally say £1.50 *isn't* moneysaving?!

Sure, I didn't wake up this morning thinking "hmmm, today I need to buy 99 packs of kitchen roll", but with such a saving on offer....why not stock up with a couple of years supply?! Are you saying you never buy cheap stuff out of season because you don't *need* it at that time & better to lety others have it?

Also, this wasn't a money making scheme...ie I can't really imagine selling kitchen roll on Ebay! It was for (long term!) personal use...I ordered within the rules (it's for Tesco to restrict numbers.....*not* the customer). I can just imagine you saying "No, leave some for others", if you could buy nanopods for a quid at Currys! I think you ought to go & live in North Korea with such a naiive commy stance!

And to the other poster who said ordering 99 packs isn't possible...it most certainly is (was?) cos I did it this morning, but like I say I then cancelled.

    Pure Greed!! Disgusting!!

Think about it ... Tesco have a misprice and so people add a few of these items to their regular shop, and thats fine as Tesco don't cotton on ... then you have selfish greedy shoppers who order obscene amounts which triggers Tesco to spot the glitch and then the misprice is sorted!!

So now you've spolit it not only for yourself (as you'll end up paying full whack) but for everyone else!

So everyone loses, Tesco charge full price again and a 'money saver' has alerted it to them.

You should be ashamed if yourself!

Well, I wasn't on a soapbox, I just find it distasteful that on a money saving website, people see a loophole and fill their boots with stuff that they don't even have the room to store! 99 packs = over 2 years supply! It'll go mouldy before you even use it and your relatives will get sick of a spare bedroom full of kitchen rolls.

I never said it was a money making scheme, although you could go to a car boot and sell them at 2p and make 100% profit.

I'm sorry if I offended you with my comments, but I said what I thought.

    Michael.

I think your morals are up the duff...so let's get this straight - *if* it was a misprice, you wanted me to lie low so everyone could take advantage of their mistake?

And then you come on here to lecture me!

You couldn't make this stuff up! :p

Calm down...it's ony a bargain website...& besides I cancelled my order...so there's at least 188 more kitchen rolls (99 x2) in the bottom of the basement bin for the likes of you to share amongst yourselves. Long live communism!
  • Thanks so much I've ordered 5. We are moving so they'll be great for packing all the glassware!

I think all that will happen is you will be charged full price, or offered a refund on return. There is a similar thread in the vent forum atm.
Please note that the prices on our Grocery website are guide prices only.
The actual price you pay is the price charged in store when your order is put together for delivery. This is because:
    • The prices of some products may vary between when you place your order and when it is delivered.
    • Your Personal Shopper may weigh items like fruit and vegetables or pick pre-packed weighed items like meat, poultry and cheese. This means the price will vary slightly in store from what is on the website.
    • Some items in your order may not be available at the the time of picking and therefore may need to be substituted.
Any special offers i.e. 'Buy One Get One Free' are not highlighted in your website basket, but will be deducted from your bill on the day of your delivery if the offer is still applicable.
All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable unless otherwise stated.
When your order is delivered you may return any item and receive a full refund if you consider that the difference between the price charged and the guide price shown on the Grocery website is unacceptable.

I thought money savers would use old newspapers for this job lol
  • We'll here goes, I've only ordered 10 and other bits and pieces - totally £10 including delivery. Think I'm going to reject the delivery if it doesn't add up.
