A small payment made today. I've got some more going out later on ebay so hopefully will be able to do some more tomorrow.
I've been focussing on listing and surveys the last few days. Little jwil is back to nursery tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to get a bit more done now.
I really want to make a dent in my payments this month so must stay focussed."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Ebay listings (not counting towards declutter total) - 1500
Survey earnings: Amazon Vouchers - £125, Paypal/cash £253.48, Other vouchers - £20"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hope everyone is well. I've been focussing on surveys and listings the last few days. I've received a £10 amazon voucher and am also waiting for a £10 sainsburys voucher and another £25 amazon vouchers :T I'm only a couple of ££ short of a You Gov cashout which will be fab especially as I only cashed out at the end of last year - normally it takes me 2 years or so to get to cashout on there
Sales are still trickling out, so another small payment made today. I prepped a few more listings yesterday so will try and get them on today.
I must try and persuade DH to go into the loft as I think there are a few higher value things I can sell up there
I feel like I'm starting to get some mojo back, it's been well and truly missing for a few weeks now. I have got 3 months til I go back to work and the house doesn't look any better yet so I want to get on.
I'm going to lurk on fly lady to see if that encourages me to do at least some of it"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

A couple more sales overnight so that's good. I managed lots of listings yesterday so fingers crossed for some more.
Really annoyed, someone overseas bought 2 items from me. They have been damaged in the post, and they asked for a partial refund. I said no and to return them as I don't tend to offer partial refunds, especially when I think they might be taking the mick (the box is damaged, but the item itself isn't, and I could resell it even with the damaged box).
Anyway, they decided to keep the one more expensive item, but said they wanted to return the smaller cheaper item. I said yes, so they've opened a return case. Now all of the paypal funds are on hold, even though they only opened a return case for the smaller item  And they seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth. So now I have to wait for over £30 of paypal money until I either get the item back or the return case automatically closes. It's so annoying, I don't mind them holding the funds for the small item, but holding the funds for the bigger item as well when they haven't even asked to return it is frustrating."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Thanks Brizzle, it's really annoying when things go wrong!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Right, I've made a small effort at flylady today
Pinched from the thread:
Magical Monday - Barnacled Bathroom and Sociable Study/Pc Area
Level One...
[STRIKE]Clean floors in these rooms (even if it is around the clutter)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Throw away all those empty bottles of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hairspray etc. I know they make the room look pretty but they are just cluttering up the place..!![/STRIKE]
Level Two...
[STRIKE]Clean baths, toilets and sinks[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Remove and bin all those slivers of soap that you have been saving, do you really need them?[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clear any clutter from desk[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!![/STRIKE]
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
Level Three...
Clear clutter from floor
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. [STRIKE]defragment the pc while doing this (programs.. accessories..system tools.. defragment!.).. if you do the disc cleanup as well, clear all the cookies and temporary files too[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Delete 10 links in your favourites which you no longer use or are dead![/STRIKE]
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
Clean/wash the brushes/dust box/filters on the vacuum cleaner!!!! .. make sure they are completely dry before using it though.. I don’t want anyone electrocuted!!
Change hand towels and flannels
Extra mission:
Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc
Grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend!
Clean the radiators in these rooms
Pull out the pc and desk and clear under and behind it.. how much money did you find? Clean windows, hang up clean nets and draught-proof curtains and any table cloths/throws or other dust and grot gathering bits of fabric!
Wipe sticky and dirty marks off the walls and doors
Not a bad start, I might try and do some more this week."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
