Doesn't matter if it is! ANPR Ltd aren't the sharpest tools in the box, in fact they are the running joke of this forum! Search for 'Trev' or 'Whitehouse' in the search this forum heading above the stickies and have a read of their utter ex-clamper thick-necked stupidity every few weeks in various threads. They must be very close to being kicked out of the BPA as they appear to never treat anyone fairly and send letters riddled with misleading stuff.

Don't expect a coherent reply, be ready to report them to the BPA if they say the driver has to be named (wrong) or send a reply that doesn't include a POPLA code.

    Hi again everyone.

ANPR sent a letter with lots of seemingly pointless info I won't include.

They did write that they have seen photographic evidence confirming relevant details of incident etc.

They wrote that DOI and DOC is greater than 29 days which under schedule 4 of the act renders RK liable for drivers actions.... and that you ahve lost the right to appeal to POPLA...

No POPLA code given as requested in letter to ANPR.

Can somebody advise if DOI and DOC point made is correct?
time between windscreen ticket and notice to keeper was over 56 days.

    Thanks!

Are they lying? What do you think, seeing as we've said they are the joke of the forum? Report them to the BPA of course, like everyone does.

In the letter of complaint to the BPA, would you suggest that details of the errors that have been made from the beginning are included such as the incorrect registration on the windscreen ticket, the incorrect date of the alleged offence on the windscreen ticket and the fact that they took over 56 days to send out the NOK?

Certainly NOTHING about the windscreen ticket nor 'waiting for the NTK' at this stage! You are writing as keeper, remember, so the first you knew about this was the Notice to Keeper rubbish and so you need to word it carefully. Remember you are complaining to the dark side - the BPA are not on your side but have to consider complaints about their members. Not only that why are you talking about a 'letter' when the Newbies thread already covers complaints and tell you the email addies to use? Don't send a letter.

sorry, yes it will be an email.
a request for a popla code will be included in the email to BPA but as you and others mention they dont help, are they likely to give a popla code or is it worth writing to ANPR at the same time demanding a popla code and informing them an email has been sent to BPA also?

Yes - do both. But be aware of the idiots you are dealing with here - search the forum for 'Trev'.

  • The POPLA code has at last been received after two complaints to BPA so the appeal is being drafted. One question though, on the NTD (window ticket), the incorrect registration and incorrect date of alleged offence were written down.
Should the fundamental errors in NTD be included in appeal as well as the errors in only receiving NTK after the 56 days allowed plus GPEOL and others or should it just stick to appealing on NTK as original window ticket was ignored?

Even if they did, the legal heavyweights both here on MSE and those on PePiPoo will be fighting with each other to join you in the first ever occasion that not-so-clever Trevor (Google Trevor Whitehouse for hours of mirth and merriment) ever steps across a county court doorstep in pursuit of a parking charge.

Do I get to slap Trev in court, finally? Do I, Do I, Do I? :T

Just to repeat what was said earlier.
