Land Registry? Complicated or what!

I am sure not long ago I read that to change a name on the title deeds of my property, (no mortgage) all I had to do was send the original marriage certificate showing the new name. I looked on the Land Registry site and it looks like a nightmare!! I haven't a CLUE what they are referring to, surely it can't all of a…

Success! lol. A very nice man from the Registry Office telephoned me today
(thank you sg27!!!) and offered to go through the form with me. It turns out that of the 6 pages!!!! only 2 are needed, when I asked if I should just send in the 2 pages, he replied that I had to send back the other blanc ones.
Anyway, I did appreciate their rapid response and polite way of dealing with things, also it didn't cost anything WOW! thats a first lol

I did ask why it was so complicated now, he said that the forms were really for solicitors, and to prevent fraud.
