What Phone?

Hi All,

I was after a bit of advice.

I am in the market for a knew phone. I have a sim only corporate contract that is amazing and nobody can beat it, so i am not after a contract just the phone model.

I use a XDA 2i at the moment and find it very good but very bulky. I use the calendar on a dialy basis and the WIFI. I would like a good quality Camera on it as well.

I use a Lotus notes diary system for work and sync with the XDA on a dialy basis so will need to do the same functions. But i would love a less bulky phone with a good camera and a calendar function.

Does such a phone exist?????

Thanks in advance

Mark

    Where's the need in that???

Anyway devonmark, I am not sure how to help but I do know that 'handset only's are quite expensive - have you maybe tried ebay? If its for business use does your company have a discount scheme with any providers or pay a percentage of any purchase you buy?

Try asking your provider for a free upgrade.

I think you will miss some of the functionality you curently have with your windows mobile PDA, Im not sure if you will find somthing that will sync with lotus notes so your going to need to go for another windows mobile based phone.

They have reduced in size since your XDA 2i and are now available with a 2.8" screen oposed to your 3.5" screen and it makes a lot of difference. I have been useing Orange SPV's for a few years and tried to return to a "normal" phone even the smartphones were dificult to go back to so I went back to a PDA based phone. All the PDA phones are made by a company called HTC Orange, Virgin, O2 etc all rebrand them and sell them as their own so you will find them available on most networks or branded as HTC. They are not cheap especially if your buying out of contract. A really smart looking one is th new HTC Touch (P3450) it is even smaller than my M3100.
