op - are you wanting advice on your parking charge or not?

Is this a real question? Without sounding rude, but yes, that is the premise of my original post.

Have posted the template in full via the UKPC website already. I guess I'll find out if they reply that I hadn't submitted it within the 14 days
But you have 28 days from service of that letter to appeal, not 14 (the silly 14 day deadline was their kind 'offer' to accept less of an extortionate sum = their bribe for idiots to pay up. It's not the appeal deadline which is longer). You are fine and they will cancel - look at all these common UKPC links:

Both UKPC and UKCPS (another firm, no relation) cancel all the time when they see a forum appeal. Here's a new outcome regarding a lady who made exactly the same silly uninformed parking decision as in your case but the PCN was cancelled by UKPCS:

Let us know when UKPC use the old 'admin error/goodwill gesture' excuse YET AGAIN when cancelling! And never use a disabled bay unless you have a disabled person in the car. Open your eyes as a family to why the P&C bays are there, they means NOTHING and are just another subliminal message in life, in this case a stupid marketing gimmick just to get families to come to the store. PPCs don't give a stuff that people don't realise they are not the same thing as a disabled bay at all - and indeed I am sure they hope people make this same mistake every week.

You will win this easily. :D

Thanks to the originators of these templates, used the system without any push back...except for them trying to say there was "no attachment" so I sent it back about 10x in various formats / methods.

Well done! Actually I like the idea of appeal-bombing a PPC. Amusing thought for the future!
