Is ebay quiet for anyone this weekend?

Last weekend was really busy for me but as for this weekend really quiet. I am told the 20th of the month is when people tend to be in debt money just before they get paid so lets hope next weekend brings on a boom!0

im probably going to close my ebay for a week or 2 next week so i can have a break and a holiday, hopefully it picks up before!!0

Perhaps it's due to the weather a lot of people are having.0

Not seen any TV ad's for ebay recenetly either but I know they have just changed their ad agency so that's probably a factor.
Hi Steve 8975,
This last week or so Ebay have been advertising in the cinemas, the ad is quite catchy so who knows ! might drum up some fresh business, i've hardly sold anytime in the last week & what i did sell wasn't worth the effort  :mad:0 -
I've been finding it quiet too. This Sunday was 10 days after the cheap listing day so there would be lots more listings than usual and probably only a few more customers. I sold 4 out of 7 Sunday-finishing items.0

With half the country under water and the other half trying to get away on holiday - not really surprising that it's dead.
It's the first weekend in 3 months that my best seller hasn't sold at all , usually sell 3 or more in a weekend (£80 item)."There is a light that never goes out"0
