I have at no point mentioned POPLA in this thread have I?
If you think a parking company is going to be worried just because you happen to mention VAT

Why dont you go and pick up a ticket from say District Enforcement or CPS and see if they go weak at the knees because you happen to mention VAT,

And when you come to mention yes air bags are of course tested. So before offering up this pearl of wisdom why dont you go and try and it and see how far you get.

There really is no point in giving t
  • @ The Deep - this is hardly an original thread and the issue of requesting VAT invoices has been brought up by others in the past.

If a company has not met the thresh hold for accounting for VAT turnover then the argument is rather academic.

I make no claim to originality 4CR and I am aware of previous vat threads. If you re-read them I think that you will agree that mine offers a new perspective.

I agree with you that if a PPC did not reach the turnover figure, £81,000 the point would be academic, but few do not, so it is not.

    Have a nice day.

I cannot see what your new thread offers any new perspective which has not been discussed either on or off forum to be perfectly honest with you.

The threat of HMRC doesn't make PPCs go weak. Just for giggles I reported G24 for VAT fraud a few years ago. HMRC promised to investigate but obviously you never hear the results. I've never seen any news article suggesting G24 were taken to court.

I edit virtually all of my posts 4CR, usually immediately after I have posted them. I find it easier to correct typos, punctuation, grammar, etc., that way. You should try it some time.

I cannot see what (sic) your new thread offers any new perspective which has not been discussed either on or off forum to be perfectly honest with you.

I appreciate your honesty, but I hope that you are not blaming me for your poor analytical skills.

Hijacking unrelated threads to promote your own is a sure way of peeing people off and getting ignored. Anyway you've already had all the advice you need: go to PePiPoo.
