Its a scammer selling dodgy kitchens who has been outed by the forum and now they are trying to get revenge. They don't deserve the time of day!0

This might sound obvious to MSE technical team but can you not block the IP addresses? Or are they using different proxy IPs each time?
Some peoples' IP addresses change each time they log on. And some of us use more than one IP address.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

I read it and he appeared not to be selling or dvertising anything but making a complaint, does it not warrant someone senior looking Into it maybe?
If he/she wants to make a complaint, I expect there are ways and means of doing it formally.
Have you read one of these posts? It's a rant of the vilest swear words and makes it clear what the poster thinks of us forum users - read the third line from the bottom. Begins with t and ends with t and you can guess the two missing letters; I don't sully my keyboard with such language.
Anyway, bombarding the forums on one of Britain's largest social forums with filth, so that legitimate users can't read and post because they're so outnumbered isn't acceptable, IMO. I went on Old Style this morning and there were two-and-an-half pages of this garbage.

Hi Andrea.
On a forum I used to go on. They used to let people join, but they couldn't post for 24-36 hours. I think they checked the i.p address to make sure they weren't previous 'spam' offenders and banned trolls.
I know some people have roving i.p. addresses, but sometimes the i.p. locater can pinpoint the location within several miles, so they soon become 'obvious.'
That may be an idea, to stop people joining, and spamming the boards so readily.0 -

Feel quite proud of myself for helping to get rid of this filth!0 -

We're not talking about someone who is sat at home using their BT broadband to log in. This is likely being done from India as experience of similar action has taught me. Its not difficult to block whole ranges of IP addresses which is possibly what they are using.
You risking blocking genuine users IP addresses too.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
