Advice on a tricky situation

Markb06. You must be a fantastic father for continuing this horrible fight. I personally have been lucky and have never had problems so my heart goes out to you and your daughter for the problems you are having. Your solicitor is probably making a packet out of this and I would seriously be kicking their butts into shape. Surely they need to push to ensure that the court directions are adhered to. I cant offer any real constructive advise but wish you all the very best.Mortgage, paid off!0

Well done for persevering. Many lesser men would have given up.Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them.

Hi Mark
It's totally disgusting what your ex has done. How old is your daughter? It must be terribly confusing for her to only occasionally see you.
Like others have said, many men would have given up by now and its a credit to you that your perservering. The law is pretty toothless in enforcement so your pretty much stuck with an endless cycle of court orders. That is unless you can find a judge who is willing to attach a penal notice to the order. However, most tend to consider that would not be in the best interests of the child (ie. to put their mum in prison) so its hard.
Keep going and good luck.0 -
Not much to add. I'm in the opposite sitaution and its awful. I separated from my husband and he no longer wants to see his children and it heartbreaking to see.
I think your solicitors really need a kick up the backside. The must be making a fortune and seem happy to let things slide.
Hope things work out for you.DS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -
Sorry I don't have much info re your actual problem but the part re your driving, that is illegal. You are not allowed to carry passengers whilst only having a provisional license and on a lesson.
Thats not true, you can drive with a full car providing your insured, taxed, MOT'd and have a supervising driver.
All ill say is, fight on for access to your daughter. Its your right to see her and im sure she'll thank you for being persistant when she is older0 -
i'm afraid that you are discovering the hard way about family law in this country, your ex will not go to prison for breaking a contact order or the like,
maybe you will find some useful info or be able to get support from the families need fathers website below

This sounds like an awful situation but keep going. Your daughter will be very grateful that you persisted when she grows up and fully understands the situation.0

What a lucky child to have such a great daddy. You are fighting all the way, never give up!!!
Good luck!!!
What goes around comes around. Your daughter will know that you fought all the way, you have evidence of that. If only all dads were like you!I'm not a "SINGLE" mum, I'm a "DOUBLE" mum!:D0
