    Hi
My Conservatory runs near to a fence, the main concern is being able to clean the glass, If you cant forget it, it will look awful. I have about 2 foot gap which is ideal, you would be better to have a wall on the party line instead although i think this looks bad as well especially the little windows across the top which look like a public toilet. Im more worried about the cheap option you mention, Its just not worth it, people want a conservatory for an all year room these days, warm in winter cool in summer, you only get what you pay for and putting up a cheap one will devalue your house, hope this helps

Thanks everyone. I don't think it is suitable for where I wanted to put it, as there is no room to have any distance between :(

If there is only a small gap between the fence and window you can always use a pressure washer. The probem comes when you want to treat the fence.
