All depends on the terms and conditions of the relevant deal as always. People already claiming now will be ok, but not those coming up for their first claim under the "new" "price match" t&c in another month or so. originals only and not returned. Always copy and read the relevant t&c at the time of order.0

I am on a pbd cashback ( with 3) and it will be my last month in August , so I tried to cancel with 30 days notice yesterday, only to be offered 300 mins and 150 txt for a fiver a month over a year. Now, I presume you are paying £18 per month for 18 months.......yes? or have you been offered a better deal.? And should I cancel this and ensure I get a 12th bill.?0

The 3 deal was a £30/month contract for 18 months at £18 in total for the 18 months.
They credited £522 to our account, leaving just £18 to pay when the credit has been used up at £30/month.0 -
I thought about doing this but then decided it was too risky. but then again, how would they know?
I don't think its too difficult for CPW to find out about the downgrade, if they are in doubt they can always check with the operator.
I think it might be worth querying the consequences of an account downgrade/upgrade by 3 before the 12 months are up for the cashback on the phone without giving your account details. I know with O2 (billed by CPW), I was told by the upgrade advisor at CPW to wait till my 12th bill was generated as an earlier downgrade would void the cashback.
However in my experience CPW (e2save) are quite accommodating when it comes to cashback claims (except of course their new price match deals).0 -
the cpw cash back terms and conditions that i was on asked for 12th bill (photocopy accepted). 60 day claim window from date of invoice. Not a pricematch deal. This will be a combined duly/August bill so hopefully the staff processing the cash back claims will realise this (yeah right).
As mentioned earlier I emailed them, got a response from onestopphoneshop (don't know why) saying send june bill. I printed that email and attached to a copy of the june bill (this is in fact my 11th) and sent recorded... received text saying received so its just the text to say successful that i'm hoping for.
Although I have done an upgrade/downgrade, its at the end of my 12 month term right? so i havent disconnected or downgraded in the 12 months and in fact the t&c didnt mention anything about downgrading (but cant remember).
Bottom line is I wanted to do things first by the book and if they give me agro then I guess its a bit of cut and pasting in photoshop to give them the bill they want.ummm...0 -
Can anyone give the tariff details of the "18 months for £18" retention deal????
Probably a better option than taking out a new cashback deal.
Is it automatic cashback from 3???????????????????

500 mins + 100 texts per month.
18 month contract
Normally £30/month.
No need to claim any cashback - they immediately credit your account with £522.
So if you never exceed the inclusive allowance, there is nothing to pay until month 18 when you will be charged £18.0 -
just to follow up this thread, sent a copy of my delayed (combined) 12th month bill from 3 to cpw and received the acceptance of the cashback text today so was all good in the end without any bill modification. Thanks cpw.ummm...0
