Royal Bank of Scotland

Royal Bank of Scotland took money out of my account illegally. £1200+ over six years. I saw the Martin on the TV and I was inspired.I thought I'll do that! I threatened to take them to court to get my money back, with interest £1500.
RBS offered me part of what they took off of me, £1001.00
RBS paid £1001.00 into my account.
Then a couple days later...
I went and did a bit of shopping got to the till, tried to use my card, no money in my accout.
I had only just been paid so I couldn't understand.
I went to the cash point and to my horror I'm now £2401.07 overdrawn!
I am so angry with Royal Bank of Scotland that I am now taking them to court.
If they do not pay up I WILL be taking the baliffs into my local branch with me! And Matin can bring his camera crew! That's how determined I am!
Royal Bank of Scotland are liars and thieves! Bring it on!

What is the difference.
The money was taken from my account, it does not belong to the bank it is my money not theirs to just take. I had insufficient funds to pay for the direct debits. RBS took and took and took my money I kept paying money in to get it straight but £90. a time! I might as well given them the shirt off my back and the blood out of my body.0 -

Jackie, try Google search under NatWestStaffMember then you will see which side I am on. I work for RBS Group and if i reported your post to HQ then I would be the first public execution in Scotland for over 300 years!!
I can help but do you want me to, if you say no then that is fine by me.0 -
Hi jackie, sorry to hear how badly rbs have treated you,if they have taken more charges since you first reclaimed then reclaim these too,we did and they repaid them all. Natweststaffmember always offers good advice, and has helped a lot of people, and will help you if they can,Question 1 yes question 2 no are you going to help or are you reporting back to HQ? tarah and keep watch Trevor & Martin hopefully I will be in my local branch of Royal Bank of Scotland whilst the court balif exorcises his/her duty.enjoy the rest of this wonderful weekend.
have a look at the threads for rbs and natwest, and you'll see some of their advice,as far i can see they were actually trying to help you anyway, I hope everything works out for you0 -
My RBSaccount has been passed to DCA who are asking for much more than was the original balance. I am not happy that even if I get the full amount refunded I will still be left with a large amount outstanding.
1) Who owns the debt now?
2) Would it be paid the DCA as a matter of practise or applied to the account?
3) Not sure if this account is even open or closed - not been used for a couple of years, but still been incurring charges.
Thanks.0 -

Thanks for that info. I think I will still have to chase for statements to date though as they only sent me them up to 2006. Just to make sure charges not added since then - prob just interest.
I read that DCA cannot charge interest on the debt-only the amount they take on - is this true?0 -
jackie calm down. people are just trying to help0
