K800i or K810i

I am about to take out a new contract (or upgrade depending on the deal) and think I have narrowed my choice down to these two phones as I am looking for something with a good camera.

Can anyone advise what the main differences between these two models are - after doing a comparison there doesn't really seem to be much between them. I can probably get a cheaper contract with the K800i model but is it worth going for the newer K810i? The difference in contract price would probably only be £25 for K810i compared to £20 for K800i.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

From what I can see, the only real difference is the K810i is a little lighter, a little narrower and has a longer battery life.

The only difference is cosmetic.

I prefer the K800i to be honest

I'd go for the k800i too. The k810i has a badly designed keypad for style rather than function. Shame though.

i asked the same question a while ago. i choose the k810i because it was the newer phone :rolleyes: my friend has the k800i, i can confirm they are exactly the same except what it looks like.

I have the K800i and the screen as amazing. 3mp camera to boot!!
Not sure what the K810i is like but i like the K800i

Here's detailed reviews of both mobiles. I would go with the K800i, if you want the slightly different software of the K810i I heard this can be done, similar to the debranding process.

the k810i has photofix and trackid as well.

as already mentioned, you can upgrade the k800i into the k810i (with a slight backilght issue) via wotanserver

Will have a good look through the links but certainly looks like there is not a lot of difference so might just opt for the K800i on the cheaper contract.
